U.S. women’s national team star Carli Lloyd could have a job waiting for her in the NFL when her soccer playing days are done. The USWNT midfielder stopped by Philadelphia Eagles practice on Tuesday and took her turn trying to knock down field goals for the 2018 Super Bowl Champions. It turned out to be an impressive display from Lloyd, who knocked through several attempts with room to spare. She sits joint-eighth in all-time Women’s World Cup goals with 10 over the course of her sterling career. But this was not her first time at an NFL training camp. Back in 2015, when Lloyd was playing for the Houston Dash, she famously went to Houston Texans training camp as well. At the time the Texans were being featured on the HBO series “Hard Knocks”, with Lloyd making a cameo for a kicking competition with now-retired defensive lineman and a man not known for his kicking abilities, Vince Wilfork.
