Karsan Ghavri holds the record for conceding 83 runs in 11 overs on his ODI debut against England at the Lord’s cricket ground in 1975.Siraj, who came into the team as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah, was subjected to numerous trolls on social media after his performance with the ball.The 24-year-old Hyderabad pacer, who was included in the playing XI in this game in place of Khaleel Ahmed, also recorded the worst economy rate (7.60) by an Indian bowler on debut beating Ghavri’s 7.54.But he wasn’t the only bowler who suffered at the hands of the Aussie batsmen in the match as the hosts posted a challenging 298 for 9 in their full quota of 50 overs after Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to bat.For Australia, Shaun Marsh followed up by his half-century in the first game by smashing 131 runs off 123 balls with 11 boundaries and three sixes. This was his seventh hundred in the format.Marsh was ably supported by Glenn Maxwell, who made a 37-ball 48, as the duo added 94 runs for the sixth wicket. He took three wickets from those games at an average of 49.33 and an economy rate of 12.33.Siraj has been top form with the ball in domestic cricket. In his last Ranji Trophy for Hyderabad against Punjab, he picked up seven wickets.
